Nathan Heath, PA-C

I’m a physician assistant with five years of experience in family medicine. I’m originally from Asheville which is where I attended undergraduate school. I went to East Carolina University for physician assistant school (Go Pirates!). I’ve lived in the Triangle for the past four years. I chose to become a physician assistant because I wanted to feel like I was making a positive difference in the world. I also love medical science and find it super interesting. I love helping my patients become their healthiest, happiest self while also honoring their values and preferences. I believe in empowering patients with knowledge so that we can make healthcare decisions together in collaboration. Some patients prefer a simple recommendation which I’m perfectly happy to do, but I always try to find a plan that we’re both happy with. Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors doing pretty much anything I can. I particularly enjoy playing disc golf with my Pekingese dog, Jake. My wife and I enjoy trying new food and try to travel when we have the opportunity.
