Jennifer Salant, M.D.

Dr. Jennifer Salant is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine and Assistant Attending Pediatrician at the NewYork-Presbyterian Phyllis and David Komansky Children's Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She is Director of the Pediatric Advanced Care Team. Dr. Salant is board certified in General Pediatrics, Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine.After graduating cum laude and with research honors from Columbia University with a B.A. in Neuroscience and Behavior, Dr. Salant received her medical degree (M.D.) from Weill Cornell Medical College. She completed her Pediatrics residency training at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Salant then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center followed by a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.Dr. Salant deeply enjoys teaching students and medical trainees, and is a faculty member in the Margaret and Ian Smith Clinical Skills Center at Weill Cornell Medicine.
