Katherine Dong, MSN, AGNP-C, RN

Katherine Dong is a Senior Nurse Practitioner who works in the Section of Colon and Rectal Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine. She collaborates with board certified surgeons who specialize in laparoscopic, robotic, complex open colon, rectal and abdominal surgeries. She performs detailed and comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative assessments of patients before and after colon and rectal surgeries. Katherine serves as the administrative coordinator for the clinical nursing team.Katherine graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from Ursuline College. Prior to joining NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine, she was a Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital. Katherine is certified in critical care nursing and has a focus on the comprehensive patient experience and the transition between the inpatient and outpatient setting.
