Tricia Lynn Hern, MD

Dr. Hern has been practicing with Community Group Family Medicine since 2008. She is the medical director of the office and sees patients of all ages in our center. She completed medical school at Northwestern University in Chicago and her residency training in family medicine at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She practiced in Chicago for seven years prior to joining Community. When caring for her patients, Dr. Hern enjoys managing chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes and asthma, as well as mental health issues such as depression, anxiety or other life stressors. Dr. Hern’s philosophy of care is to work with her patients to come up with a care plan that works best for their personal goals and needs.
