Impact Therapy

Impact Therapy was founded by Kelly Smith Knowles, a native of Blount County and the Snead area. She is a graduate of Oneonta High School, where she graduated in 1997 as the valedictorian of her class. She then went to the University of South Alabama where she studied Physical Therapy and received her Masters's Degree of Physical Therapy in May 2002. While attending USA, she finished in the top of her class and was the President of her PT class. After graduation, she has worked for several large companies as either a treating therapist or as a Therapy director with multiple jobs. Over the last six years, she has been the president of Impact Therapy, Inc which began as a contracting therapy company. Kelly Knowles has expanded her practice to include outpatient therapy. She has always wanted to come back to her hometown and be able to offer services that have not been available in the Snead/northern Blount County area. She strives to give the most optimal therapy as well as one-on-one care which is hard to achieve at larger clinics. l
