Jennifer Linne Dorantes, MD

Jennifer Dorantes, MD, is a native New Englander, born and raised in Connecticut. After graduating from Wellesley College in Massachusetts, she received her medical degree from University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. She completed her residency training at Tufts University—Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. During residency, Dr. Dorantes received special training in treating older adults.

After residency, Dr. Dorantes worked as a primary care doctor in Springfield, MA for 12 years. She is experienced both in the care of complex chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure and in preventive care to help patients maintain good health. She especially enjoys working with older adults to maintain their health and independence.

In her spare time, she enjoys classical music, choral singing, playing the violin, gardening and playing with her dog, Oscar.
