Dr. McHerron was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in South Haven, Michigan. He received his bachelor of science degree in human physiology from Michigan State University and attended the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota for his medical degree. Dr. McHerron completed a pediatric residency at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. As a pediatrician, Dr. McHerron enjoys treating children of all ages, but has a special interest in newborn care, preventive care and providing healthcare to children on international mission trips. In his spare time, he plays competitive volleyball, enjoys a good game of tennis, and likes cooking and baking. He is also a former hip hop choreographer and salsa instructor.
