Alexis Mayhew, MD, completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Riverside Regional Medical Center, Newport, VA. She has provided a full spectrum of OB/ GYN care for Reedley Women’s Health – Rural Health Clinic and Birthing Center in Reedley, California. Dr. Mayhew is a provider consultant to Sacred Roots Midwifery Birth Center and actively involved with women’s ministries at Cornerstone Bible Church.
Dr. Mayhew has a special interest in natural family planning and is excited to learn new things through evidence-based research and technologies that make healthcare for women better. She loves the unique balance of being on labor and delivery delivering babies, in the OR doing surgery and seeing patients in the clinic.
In her spare time, she enjoys indoor gym climbing, cycling and day hiking, along with spending time with her husband and their four sons. They enjoy visiting family in Michigan.
