Matthew Tieskoetter, AGPCNP

Matt Tieskoetter is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in the care and treatment of orthopedic conditions in older adults. He works with Dr. William Schroer, an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in knee replacement. Matt assists in surgery and sees patients in clinic.

Matt worked in the operating room for more than a decade before joining SSM Health Orthopedics and cared for patients from preoperative to postoperative. His unique nursing experience enables him to counsel patients about what to expect before and after surgery.

Matt received a Master of Science degree in nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri after receiving a bachelor of science degree in nursing at the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College in St. Louis. He is a certified nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
