Jennifer Parr, FNP-C, is an advanced practice family nurse practitioner with Providence Medical Group-Milwaukie Residency Clinic. “It’s an honor to support people at the most vulnerable times in their lives – whether through pregnancy and childbirth or an acute or chronic illness – and to help them see how strong and capable they are,” she says. In a previous role, Jennifer worked as a postpartum nurse. “One thing I've carried with me since then is the joy of education,” she says. “My most important job is to educate my patients – to make sure they understand their options, and that they feel heard and understood, as well.” A graduate of the University of Kansas, she earned her doctorate in nursing at Oregon Health & Science University.
