Originally from Hyderabad, India, Dr. Vasamsetty earned her medical degree from J. J. M. Medical College in Davangere, India. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina before obtaining a master’s degree in health administration from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
