Amy Pate, M.D.

Rocky Mountain Wound Care Specialists is the premier wound care center in the Loveland, Colorado, area and the only one with a certified physician wound specialist in the Northern Colorado region: foremost expert Amy Pate, MD, MPH, CWSP®. 

Dr. Pate graduated from medical school in 2009 from the American University of Antigua. She then completed almost four years of general surgery training and four years of research focused on surgical/critical care outcomes. She also obtained a Master of Public Health in epidemiology.

Dr. Pate has published over 20 peer-reviewed articles and given numerous presentations at national conferences, such as the American College of Surgeons Clinical Congress, the Society for Critical Care Medicine Annual Congress, and the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care. 

Dr. Pate founded Rocky Mountain Wound Care Specialists to use her unique experience in trauma, general surgery, critical care surgery, and preventive medicine to help patients heal wounds from head to toe.

Rocky Mountain Wound Care Specialists uses the most advanced treatments, including compression therapy, total contact casting, non-contact ultrasound debridement, and skin substitutes, to help patients with leg, radiation, traumatic, atypical, and other types of wounds heal quickly.
