I became a doctor as a result from being inspired by watching my family physician as a child. My approach to patient care has always been simple--listen to the patient. I think that many questions can be answered by simply sitting down with the patient and listening. My areas of clinical interest and expertise include GI foregut surgery, colon and bariatric surgery. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, exercising, traveling and hiking.
