Young Park

Young Park, MD primarily specializes in family medicine, with an area of expertise in primary and general care. He is very interested in educating the community about preventative care and providing early access to health care. He chose to pursue a career in medicine to show compassion to patients and help them improve their quality of life.

Dr. Park attended the University of Medicine and Health Sciences, St. Kitts, where he received his medical degree and completed his residency in family medicine at Beaumont Hospital, Wayne, MI. He is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians and the New England Journal of Medicine.  Additionally, he co-wrote an article, “Earth Suit”, reflecting on an experience learning at the feet of a spirited patient.

To help patients achieve their health goals, Dr. Park listens carefully to their concerns so that I can understand their issues and compose comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans to ensure the best possible health outcome. "What I enjoy most about what I do is helping people and educating them when it comes to taking good care of themselves and their health,” says Dr. Park.

When he is not working with his patients, Dr. Park enjoys spending time fishing, hiking and cooking.
