Sascha Dougan

Sascha Dougan, FNP-BC-CDE is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and certified diabetes educator who specializes in diabetes and endocrinology care. She has worked in these specialties with both children and adults for the past seven years and is passionate about improving their lives. Prior to that, Ms. Dougan worked for many years as a RN in pediatric intensive care.

Ms. Dougan’s philosophy to treating patients is holistic in manner, taking into account their family dynamics and available support systems. With her guidance, she hopes to motivate her patients to better care for themselves. She would also like to educate the community about diabetes management, insulin pumps and diabetes glucose monitoring.

During a patient visit, Ms. Dougan likes to hear the patient’s complete story and understand the situation so she can provide the best possible care. “I enjoy working with people and providing solutions to their medical problems. I also love keeping up with technical advances in this field and using them to the best advantage for our patients”, she says.

When she’s not seeing patients, Ms. Dougan likes to swim, walk, read and spend time with her children, dogs and cats.
