Debra Black-Mayo, MS, LPC, CCTP, CDBT, is a highly regarded behavioral therapist treating the full scope of mental and behavioral health disorders at her practice, Mayo Counseling Center, LLC, in Chandler, Arizona. 

Debra’s patients benefit from her extensive knowledge, compassion, and experience. Treating patients from all walks of life for over 25 years, Debra provides therapy that supports each person’s individual challenges and goals.

Debra received a master’s degree in professional counseling from Southern Christian University in Montgomery, Alabama. She’s a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and is professionally certified in dialectical behavior therapy (CDBT).

Always mindful of the needs of her patients, Debra maintains a level of confidentiality and professionalism that allows them to focus on their recovery. She’s passionate about creating an environment where patients can feel comfortable with where they are in life, while wanting to grow, develop coping skills, and move forward into a fulfilling future. 

Before opening her private practice, Debra served as the director of Outpatient Services at The Meadows Outpatient Center in Scottsdale, Arizona.
