I am a passionate and collaborative leader, and I’m in this industry because I genuinely care about people.

My core values drive everything I do, and one of those primary values is giving back to my community. I believe that to whom much is given, much is expected. My wife and I are involved in our local church and our community, holding board seats with an affiliate of URM a Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles, and the Torrance Memorial Medical Center Foundation. Besides my family and my community, my career in the mortgage industry has brought more growth and purpose into my life than nearly anything else I’ve ever done.

After graduating and falling into this business, I enjoyed some initial success. I then co-founded a mortgage brokerage called Platinum Capital Group in 1993. Platinum Capital merged with RPM Mortgage in 2007, and recently, we participated in the merger between RPM and CrossCountry Mortgage.

Over the past thirty years, I have learned how to focus on quality, develop powerful industry partnerships, and turn a start-up into a multi-billion dollar lending platform. As a result of this time and cooperative dedication, my team and I have received a lot of humbling and empowering awards: INC Magazine’s tenth fastest growing company, fastest growing company in the Los Angeles Business Journal, and Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year.

I couldn’t have done any of this without my team, and I am proud to say that our family has grown to fill over twenty offices across the country and produce over $2 billion in funding annually.
