Komal Desai, MD

Dr. Komal Desai is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is involved in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of intraocular tumors, including retinoblastoma, melanoma and conjunctival tumors. She has received the following degrees: Bachelor of Arts, biology and Doctor of Medicine from UMKC School of Medicine’s six-year combined B.A./M.D. program. She completed her ophthalmology residency at UMKC School of Medicine as well. She subsequently did a clinical/research fellowship in ocular oncology at the University of California in San Francisco.
