Ramona Baumfalk, OD

Dr. Ramona Baumfalk earned her Bachelor of Science in cell and molecular biology from Missouri State University, Springfield, Mo., in 1997. She was awarded her Doctor of Optometry with special honors in clinical care from Illinois College of Optometry (ICO), Chicago, in 2006. Additionally, she completed her low vision rehabilitation and ocular disease residency at ICO. Prior to joining Sabates Eye Centers, Dr. Baumfalk practiced at several eye care centers in the Kansas City area. Her honors and awards are many. Among them, she received a VISTAKON Student Fellowship, a Marchon Eyewear Practice Management Award, and the Derrald Taylor Low Vision Award honors in clinical care from ICO two years running.
