Lea S. Johnson, MD

Lea S. Johnson, MD, specializes in Family Medicine. Dr. Johnson earned her medical degree from University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Florida. She completed her residency at Memorial Hermann Family Medicine Residency Program in Sugar Land, Texas.
Dr. Johnson sees patients of all ages for a variety of injuries and illnesses. She provides general medical, pediatric and gynecology care, including well-woman exams, physicals, vaccinations, weight management medications, joint injections, and contraception counseling. She also manages chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory disease.
Dr. Johnson believes primary care physicians have an important role in the community where they practice, helping to keep people healthy and out of the hospital. Additionally, as a family medicine physician, she enjoys building strong long-term relationships with patients and being able to care for their entire family.
Growing up in St. Louis, Dr. Johnson has strong ties to the community and is proud to be able to practice medicine in her hometown. She grew up going to St. Louis Rams games and is still a big football fan and enjoys all sports. She was an all-American on the track and field team while in college and now enjoys boxing workouts. Dr. Johnson loves spending time with friends and family, and discovering new restaurants.
