Dr. D. Sheela

Dr. D. Sheela is a prominent and highly experienced Ayurvedic General Physician. Besides holding a Doctor of Medicine in Ayurveda, She has 41 years of extensive experience practicing Ayurvedic medicine. Furthermore, with more than two decades of experience as a Hospital Superintendent, Vice Principal, and Department Head, she retired as a Principal of an Ayurveda college. She was also appointed as a Chief coordinator of Janany Pregnancy Care Project supported by Govt of Kerala. An important part of her research was in the area of occurrence of lifestyle diseases, supported by the Kerala Government. Her special focus was on women's health such as Infertility, PCOS and menstrual disorders. She also specializes in Geriatric care, Rheumatism and Spine diseases.
