Richard A. Semones, MD - Closed

Dr. Rick Semones received a bachelor of engineering degree in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He continued his education at the University of Louisville School of Medicine where he obtained his medical degree.

Dr. Semones is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. His experience includes working as an internal medicine and pediatrics physician in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He also has years of service to the communities he has lived in including mentoring medical students, volunteering at vaccination clinics, and mentoring Hispanic elementary and middle school students on health related topics. He is highly proficient in Spanish.

Dr. Semones is an associate member of the American College of Physicians and a fellow for the American Academy of Pediatrics. He became an active member of Oaklawn’s medical staff in 2022.
