Arthur Nelson, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with Providence Medical Group-Mary’s Woods Primary Care. He sees the provider-patient relationship as a collaborative partnership and enjoys building connections with his patients. “I’m here to guide, educate and partner with patients so they can make the best decisions for themselves,” he says. “When patients understand their treatment plans, they have better buy-in, which leads to better outcomes. Providing care that helps people live healthier, more fulfilling lives brings me a feeling of accomplishment and pride.” Arthur earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Portland State University before graduating from the Pacific University School of Physician Assistant Studies.
