Robert Anthony Duerr, MD

Dr. Duerr is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of knee and shoulder injuries. He is nationally recognized for expertise in treating ACL tears and has published extensively on minimally invasive techniques for ACL reconstruction. Dr. Duerr also serves as director of the new Cartilage Repair and Joint Preservation Program at Mercy. This program is aimed to help patients with meniscus tears, focal cartilage defects or early arthritis that may be candidates for both non-surgical and surgical treatments. Dr. Duerr treats athletes of all ages from the high school to professional level and serves as a knee surgery consultant for the St. Louis Cardinals.
