I chose to become an advanced practice provider (APP) because I felt that I needed to care for my patients on a different level. I already had the experience as a nurse and played the role of being their number one advocate. I felt that becoming a provider would ensure that they receive the best care along with continuing to be their advocate and ensuring all of their needs are met, physically, spiritually and emotionally. I believe in a holistic approach to medicine. Treating the entire patient and, not just the disease, is essential in healing and dealing with disease. When I am not at work, I enjoy coffee shop dates, shopping and adventuring with my two very energetic twin girls. I also enjoy all outdoor activities, remodeling and decorating and traveling to new places.
