Michael Sopt, MD

Michael Kevin Sopt, M.D. received his medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 1994. He went on to complete his Family Practice residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Sopt is a Board Certified Family Physician and has been in practice since 1997. He has over 21 years of experience in the management of Acute Care, Adult and Geriatric Medicine, and Family Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice. He grew up in Michigan, and is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. Dr. Sopt treats patients age 11 and upwards. He has a special interest in geriatrics and chronic disease management. In his spare time, Dr. Sopt enjoys following his Vanderbilt Commodores, cycling, soccer, and spending time with his family. Dr. Sopt welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
