The healing properties of the sea do not stop here, however. The beach continues to be a place of healing, balance and restoration. Studies confirm this, as exposure to ‘blue spaces’ is scientifically linked to better mental health.

Our location was not chosen by default. The ancient Greeks were aware of the healing properties of the sea. They used ocean water to treat all types of ailments, such as arthritis, eczema and back pain. The water was even used to prevent infections, ease pain and heal wounds.

With this in mind, we felt there was no better place for a residential treatment center than right here in Huntington Beach – also known as Surf City. Our facility is just blocks from the Pacific Ocean, and our clients find a level of serenity, peace and hope here.
