Every day, I?m humbled by my patients? resilience in the face of the adversity of living with Crohn?s disease and Ulcerative Colitis (IBD). Their stories inspire me at a deep personal level to be the absolute best physician I can be. I want to build a partnership with my patients, so they know we are treating their IBD together and that every decision we make is a shared decision. I will help them understand their disease better, understand the tests they go through and the medicines they?re on. Beyond prescribing medications, I will offer my patients the latest research on effects of sleep, exercise, meditation, and healthy eating so to empower them to take control of their symptoms. My commitment to my patients is to treat them with the dignity they deserve and to advocate for them every step of the way.
