Dr. Tamim is a board-certified medical oncologist with expertise in treating solid tumors, blood cancers and hematologic disorders. She completed training in internal medicine and was a fellow in hematology and oncology at the Emory University School of Medicine. Prior to joining Atlanta Cancer Care, Dr. Tamim was a faculty member at Emory University and an attending physician at Grady Memorial Hospital. Dr. Tamim is a managing partner and President of Atlanta Cancer Care. She is a member of the Northside Hospital Cancer Committee, Quality & Improvement Committee and the Atlanta Cancer Care Survivorship Committee. In addition, Dr. Tamim serves on the Atlanta Cancer Care Quality & Therapeutics Committee. Dr. Tamim previously served as the volunteer Medical Director for the Susan G. Komen Atlanta 3-day walk.
