I chose to go into medicine because I truly enjoy helping patients. Several of my family members have had GI issues over the years. This lead me to research more about their diagnosis, which is what sparked my interest and why I decided to specialize in Gastroenterology. I am passionate about educating my patients so when they go home, they have all the tools necessary to make the healthiest life choices. I want my patients to know that I will treat them like family and get to know them personally and not just see them as their diagnosis. The most gratifying part of practicing medicine is when I can help a patient and thy are grateful for their care.
