Susan Xie, MD

Susan Xie, MD, is a pediatrician who specializes in adult and pediatric allergy and immunology. Dr. Xie enjoys being able to improve patients’ lives and to apply evolving clinical research to evidence-based patient care. Her areas of expertise include food allergy, asthma, rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, urticaria/angioedema, drug allergy, insect venom allergy and immunodeficiencies. Dr. Xie forms long-term partnerships with patients and families, and serves as their advocate when caring for common and rare allergic and immunologic conditions. She ensures her patients’ voices are heard when tailoring treatment plans to their unique needs and goals. Dr. Xie is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI); American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI); and World Allergy Organization (WAO). She received the ACAAI SPARK award in 2018. Away from work, she enjoys making ceramics, traveling and film photography.
