The Emergency Department (ED) at Community Hospital East provides 24-hour emergency care for serious and sudden illness and/or injury and trauma. At Community Hospital East, our team of board-certified emergency medicine physicians, certified nurses and respiratory therapists have expertise in treating emergency medical conditions and managing crisis situations. We are committed to making your family's emergency room experience as comfortable, and as quick as possible. From treating chest discomfort and signs of stroke to head trauma, asthma attacks, broken bones and open wounds, our goal is to treat you appropriately and promptly. The East emergency department is located at the rear of the hospital off of 16th street.
