Northern Virginia Ponds was started by a local teenager when he found a passion for building ponds. While it has expanded to take on more jobs, NOVA Ponds is still run by him and local residents. We value hard work, quality, efficiency, and providing affordable services. We construct, remove, and maintain backyard ponds. We service the surrounding area of the DMV. We have the expertise and know-how to get the job done. When you want a new pond, it is nice to understand the steps involved in installing it. We will bring you along in a recent project we completed for a client in Alexandria, Virginia. While this particular pond is smaller than most, the same basic steps apply to most installations. When we start planning a pond, we visit the property and talk to the homeowner. We then begin the designing process. We plan the size, shape, depth, rocks, and features (such as filters, plants, lights, etc.) to suit the homeowners preferences.
