Opened in Oct 2005, Bedrock Academy is locally owned and operated by Brian and Selena McAllister.
Bedrock Academy is an independent, Type 1 (Class B), child care facility and is not affiliated with any other center or franchise, nor has it ever been. We are free of religion and politics, providing care and education to all children equally.
Originally located at 1410 Airline Drive, we eventually built our first 9000 sq ft facility at 3224 Barksdale Blvd., in 2008. In April of 2016, we completed our new 11,000 sq ft gymnasium across from the existing Center. The gymnasium houses our Pre-k class and the before/after school children.
