Blind Squirrel Auto Upholstery

My name is Mike Stratton. When I was 21, my dad bought an upholstery shop in Escondido, CA. After looking for job for some time, I gave in and asked my dad if I could have a job. He gave me broom and told me to sweep the floors. While I 'honing my floor sweep skills' I got the chance to tag along with Ray. Ray, was the full time trimmer/upholster at my dad's shop. He was very grumpy and even more stubborn. Some how I tricked him into liking me and into teaching me some things. Ray is long gone, but 20 some years later, I take pride in carrying on the tradition of hard work and craftsmanship that I learned from him and my dad as I now run my own shop in Oceanside ,CA. Established in Oct. 2014.
