I got into the field of medicine to make a difference in the lives of others. Medicine allows for a diverse career that also allows for advancement in the field. I began my career in healthcare as a registered nurse and then pursed and achieved my master's degree in midwifery. My philosophy to patient care includes treating my patient as a unique individual, addressing all their needs to achieve an outcome that is most satisfying to her. My areas of special interest include general obstetrics, well-woman care, contraception management and infertility evaluation. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, baking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
