Jaime Luis Torres, MD - Access Health Care Physicians, LLC

Jaime Luis Torres, II, MD comes to Access Health Care from a 12-year career in the United States Army where he served as a flight surgeon in Belgium and in Afghanistan, participating in "Operation Enduring Freedom."

Dr. Torres received his medical degree from the highly prestigious Ivy League medical school at Cornell University Medical College, New York Presbyterian Hospital, New York City. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Cornell University College of Agricultural & Science in Ithaca, New York. Dr. Torres completed both his residency in internal medicine and his internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.

He holds or has held certifications in the following areas: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS). He is a member of The American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, National Hispanic Medical Association, and Society of US Army Flight Surgeons.

Dr. Torres and his wife, Faye, are the proud parents of two boys – Jaime and Michael. He enjoys scuba diving, snorkeling, and motorcycle riding and is an avid Grillmaster.
