My father was a physician, so I grew up in a medical family. I wanted to be part of this honorable profession to help others for the satisfaction this provides. Other rewards of being a doctor were secondary. I practice all areas of general obstetric and gynecology, but have a strong interest in high risk pregnancies, in particular medical co-morbidities in pregnancy. I also have extensive experience in urogenital prolapse and enjoy pelvic floor reconstruction and all types of vaginal surgery. I focus on evidence-based and value-based care, providing care that has been proven to be effective with the least cost. I educate the patient on treatment options , counsel and encourage them on the best course. Outside of work, I enjoy woodworking, music, travel and yardwork.
