ERIKA L. COSSITT VOLPIANO, P.C., an experienced and dedicated family law attorney in Tucson, Arizona, is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a Certified Specialist in Family Law. Her practice includes mediation, premarital agreements, cohabitation agreements, dissolutions of marriage, valuation and division of property, spousal maintenance, high conflict custody issues, and related family law matters. She received her J.D. from Arizona State University, was admitted to the California Bar and U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit in 1992, was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 1995, and then admitted to the New York Bar in 2002. She practiced in Los Angeles, California, from 1992 through 1994 in legal malpractice defense and has practiced in domestic relations law since 1995, including fourteen months in New York ending in March of 2003. She is a member of three bar associations State Bar of Arizona, California, and New York, and was the Arizona Chapter President for the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Erika is also a Pro Tem attorney for the Arizona Superior Court, which allows her to take mediation from the first step through the actual dissolution and entry of a final order saving mediation clients from going to a Courthouse.
