First Command Financial Advisor - Lezlee Masson

Lezlee Masson joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in August 2022, following a 27-year career in the United States Air Force, where she attained the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (CMSgt). Lezlee understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away.

Lezlee has a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master’s degree in Arts Administration from Boston University. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Leadership and Management from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. She holds Series 7, Series 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Utah, Maine and Missouri.

Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Lezlee serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. Her thorough knowledge of military pay and benefits enables her to advise clients on how to navigate the Blended Retirement System, properly
allocate their contributions to the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) and take full advantage of other benefits. Lezlee will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals.

Active in her community, Lezlee is a member of the Team Hill AFB Chief's Group, Top 3, Air Force Ball committee and the local CrossFit gym. She also volunteers in the Salt Lake City LGBTQ+ community as one of the primary Pride Parade organizers for Pride Week every June.

In her free time, Lezlee enjoys hiking, traveling, and working out.
