Abraham Glasman-CLOSED

Abraham Glasman, MD is a member of Summit Health’s Neurology Team. He is board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Medical Association, and the American Board of Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Glasman has been practicing general neurology for close to 20 years and has extensive experience treating headaches, dementia syndromes, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and its variants, stroke, pain syndromes, neuropathy, and a host of other neurological disorders. He is skilled at electromyography, electroencephalography, trigger point injections, Botox and other neurological procedures. Through his years of clinical experience and a keen attention to detail, Dr. Glasman has developed an expertise in diagnosing and treating complex neurological disorders.

A native New Yorker, Dr. Glasman received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rochester, where he graduated with honors. He returned to New York City where he received his medical degree at SUNY Downstate and went on to complete his neurology training at Long Island Jewish Hospital, where he served as chief resident in his final year.

He was voted Best Neurologist in Best of North Shore in both 2020 and 2021 and in Bethpage Best of Long Island in 2021.

Outside of his career, Dr. Glasman has been an avid Islanders fan since childhood and is a voracious reader of biographies and books on history. He is a loving father of three with his wife of almost 25 years.
