Emily Baumert, MD

Dr. Emily Baumert is originally from Pennsylvania, but has called New York home for the past 7 years. She completed her medical school training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY and her family medicine residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Baumert subscribes to the WHO definition of health as a “state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” She also believes in the power of the physician-patient relationship and strives to improve your health as a team. She treats all ages and provides care for acute and chronic problems as well as preventative care. Her special interests include reproductive and women’s health. She is able to provide a wide variety of contraceptive services, and she completed extra training in early termination of pregnancy by medication or procedure. She looks forward to meeting and caring for you and your entire family.
