Scott Davis, MD - Nephrology

Scott Davis, MD, is committed to providing the highest standard of care for each patient, utilizing up-to-date clinical knowledge delivered in plain language and with kindness, honestly and attention to detail. He believes in listening carefully to each patient to tailor care specific to their individual goals and social or cultural needs.

Dr. Davis’ clinical practice focuses on evaluating patients who are interested in donating a kidney as well as guiding patients with advanced kidney disease throughout the entire kidney transplant process. He also provides comprehensive medical care for those who have already received a kidney and/or pancreas transplant.

Dr. Davis received his medical degree from Oregon Health and Science University. He went on to complete his internal medical residency as well as his nephrology and transplant nephrology fellowships at the University of Colorado. He has lectured both nationally and internationally, been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, served on several regional boards and is an active member of the American Transplant Society.

Prior to joining Centura, Dr. Davis was Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado, where he was an educator in the School of Medicine and also served as the Director of Kidney Transplant Clinical Trials, focusing his research on a personalized approach to immunosuppression medication management.

In his free time, Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, especially doing outdoor activities. He also has personal interests in philosophy as well as nutrition and fitness.
