Chrissy Griffin, NP

Christan (Chrissy) Griffin, FNP-C, began her healthcare career as a Registered Nurse after earning her Associate of Science in Nursing from Gordon College in 2004. She later continued her education through earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington, and her Master of Science in Nursing, with a specialization in family practice, from Columbus State University. She is nationally board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Chrissy worked as a nurse practitioner at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) in reconstructive plastic surgery. Prior to CTCA, she worked for Piedmont Newnan, WellStar Spalding, and Southern Regional Medical Center. Chrissy specializes in family medicine, peri-surgical services, and wound care. Chrissy's passions in healthcare include patient centric care through enabling and encouraging her patients to be actively involved in their health care through inclusion in developing a health plan, autonomy, and education. In her spare time, Chrissy enjoys spending time with her husband of 20+ years, two kids, and puppy (Izzy). She enjoys perusing the cart paths in PTC, bird watching, planning home renovations, and caring for her house plants. Chrissy is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
