Rachel Henderson, PharmD, BCPS, CPP

I chose to become a clinical pharmacist practitioner because I enjoy helping patients manage their chronic disease states. My areas of special interest include: diabetes, anticoagulation, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma and tobacco cessation. My approach to patient care is to develop relationships with patients to learn the patient’s goals. My aim is to develop plans centered around the patient’s goals when possible. Outside of work, I like to spend time with my husband, our son and our energetic beagle. We enjoy spending time outside hiking, biking and canoeing.
