Hayley A. Hirt, CNM

Hayley Hirt, CNM, DNP, is a certified nurse midwife with Providence Women’s Clinic-St. Vincent. She enjoys getting to know families and building strong relationships with them. Hayley chose this work, she says, “because I love empowering people to understand their bodies.” She emphasizes bodily autonomy and a health-at-every-size mindset. Hayley believes that pregnancy and birth are generally normal processes that require very little intervention. “My role is to be the guardian of normal,” she says, “but when interventions do become necessary, I appreciate having access to them.” A graduate of the University of Vermont, Hayley earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Oregon Health and Science University. She speaks Spanish and English.
