Steven Robert Cumberledge, FNP, MSN

Steven R. Cumberledge, FNP-C, MSN, APRN, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in primary care and family medicine at MUSC Health Primary Care in North Charleston. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Master of Science in Nursing degree and earned his Baccalaureate of Nursing from West Virginia University in 2016. He is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Steven’s health care experience includes working as a registered nurse for more than 8 years in surgical trauma and medical-surgical intensive care units. After graduating with his MSN degree, he worked as a nurse practitioner in a walk-in medical clinic providing acute and chronic care services to patients of all ages. Steven practices patient-centered care and believes in empowering the patient to take an active role in their own health care decisions.

Steven’s clinical interests include preventive medicine and treating chronic health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. His goal is to provide compassionate, current, and high-quality care using the latest evidence-based practices. Steven looks forward to forming relationships with his patients and continuing to serve the greater Charleston area.
