Colin M. Bosma, PhD

Colin Bosma, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist with Providence Medical Group-Newberg. He works with our team to integrate behavioral health into primary care and to treat patients as whole individuals. Dr. Bosma describes his approach to care as “strength based,” explaining, “I work with people to leverage their strengths, motivations and values to tackle distress.” A scientist-practitioner, he has trained equally in both areas, which allows him to continuously refine his practice. Dr. Bosma earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Colorado Boulder and his doctorate at the University of Maine. He completed his internship with George Fox University and his residency with Providence Medical Group.
