Finbarr Filan Centra

Before taking over the family run Centra in Sligo, Finbarr Filan was first a manufacturing engineer. With his extensive experience in the medical device, construction, and pharmaceutical industries, he brought his knowledge to local projects like the SEUPB, which aimed to regenerate the town centre. Finbarr’s commitment to his hometown and community has continued with further work helping to bring more businesses to Sligo, making it desirable destination for business owners. Among his achievements are serving as the Chair of various committees like organising the St Patricks Day festival, managing the Sligo Tidy Towns and various boards and government advisory groups.
