Melanie R. Goldfarb, MD

Dr. Goldfarb (M.D., M.Sc., FACS, FACE ) is a fellowship-trained endocrine surgeon specializing in minimal access surgery for thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal tumors as well as neck ultrasound, thyroid biopsy and radiofrequency ablation. With over 75 publications and numerous grants, Dr. Goldfarb is a leader in her field. She founding Director of the Center for Endocrine Tumors, a new “one-stop shop” for thyroid/parathyroid ultrasound and biopsy with same day imaging and results. Here, every patient receives a personalized treatment plan, created together with the patient and physician. Dr. Goldfarb is also one of the first physicians on the west coast to offer radio-frequency ablation of thyroid nodules in her office.
